Art stations fundation - by Grażyna Kulczyk

Spośród wszystkich nadesłanych zgłoszeń organizatorzy projektu (Art Stations Foudation oraz Instytut Muzyki i Tańca) do udzialu w Polsko-amerykańskiej wymianie artystycznej w Movement Research w Nowym Yorku wybrali Agnieszkę Kryst oraz Katarzynę Wolińską.

Agnieszka Kryst graduated from  the Warsaw School of Economics and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with a diploma in choreography and dance theory. In 2013 she received a scholarship from the Alternative Dance Academy, Old Brewery New Dance, Poznań, Poland. As dancer and performer she has collaborated with Karolina Kroczak, Tomas Nepsinski, Juan Domìnguez Rojo, Małgorzata Haduch, and lately with Sjoerd Vreugdenhil on Unintended consequences, which premiered during the festival Old Brewery New Dance at Malta 2014. She was a finalist of the choreographic competition New Europe Festival 2013 in Prague, the Czech Republic, where she showcased her solo Pressure and duo Liquid state of mind. She has taken part in Friv Move, an improvisation lab for dancers and musicians, at the Zamek Culture Centre in Poznań. 
She has taken part in several workshops in Poland and abroad (including courses held as part of the ImPulsTanz Festival in Vienna). She studied with Maria F. Scaroni, Sjoerd Vreugdenhil, Rosalind Crisp, Laura Aris Alvarez, Peter Jasko, Benoît Lachambre, Keith Hennessy, and David Zambrano.

Katarzyna Wolińska dancer, she started her dance education in Gdańsk, learning from Anna Haracz, Leszek Bzdyl and Katarzyna Chmielewska as well as Andrzej Morawiec and Grażyna Popławska. At the same time, she took part in workshops run by choreographers and teachers including: Olivan, Hayden, Olszowska, Frucek, Kilvady, Horta Betancourt, Cantalupo, Zambrano. For two years she has collaborated with Jacek Owczarek (Pracownia Fizyczna, Łódź), studying at the same time Choreography and Dance Technique at the Academy of Music in Łódź. She trains weng chun kung fu. She produced her own performance Skin Deep at the Gdańsk Dance Festival 2011.
