POLISH DANCE PLATFORM 2012

polskaplatformatanca2012

Polish Dance Platform is a biannual festival presentation of the latest achievements of Polish contemporary dance. The event was born out of the strong wish to promote most interesting Polish shows and choreographers with an aim to increase the presence of Polish dance on international stages and with a strong will to establish long term future international collaborations supporting further development of Polish choreography and offering artists a platform of exchange of ideas and experiences.

During the platform’s previous editions in 2008 and 2010, more than 30 (selected each time by expert jury) Polish dance shows has been presented stirring interest among international curators and guests. The event became also a perfect occasion for local dance community to meet and exchange views both on artistic and on important community development issues.
