Since October 2014 your favorite Monday dance classes return led by choreographers and dancers associated with the Old Brewery New Dance program. Physical activities do not require professional preparation. They are open to all lovers of contemporary dance!

Katarzyna Sitarz is a dancer, performer, choreographer, movement&voice researcher and world traveler.
She studied Slavic Philology at Wratislavia University, Poland and Dance and Choreography at Codarts/Rotterdam Dance Academy, The Netherlands. Holder of an Artistic Scholarship of Ministry of Culture and Education in The Netherlands and Poland. Nominated for The Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative (USA/ Switzerland) as well as a scholar of DanceWeb 2010 at the ImPulsTanz Festival in Vienna and Tanja Liedtke Fellowship, Australia.
Co-founder of an independent Amsterdam-based collective Area59, which forms a platform for artistic exchange, collaboration and daily performative training.
Since 2008 Katarzyna is working internationally as a freelance performer and choreographer with artists such as Rui Horta (PT), Pedro Goucha (PT/NL), Dyland Newcomb (USA), Liat Magnezy (IL/NL), La Fura dels Baus (ES), Jens van Daele (BE), Kud Ljud (SI), Sjoerd Vreugdenhil (NL), Marta Ziolek (PL), Cecilia Moisio (FI/NL) and MAAS Theater and Dance in Rotterdam, which creates performances for young audience.
Her curiosity brings her to various circumstances and environments, where she conducts her multidisciplinary practices on the body. She observes the tuning, adapting and transforming processes that occur within performer's movement, sensuality and physicality.
